Deep Rock Galactic

Deep Rock Galactic is a cooperative first-person shooter video game developed by Ghost Ship Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing. It was fully released in May 2020 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One after two years in early access. It later became available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2022. The game is set on the alien planet Hoxxes IV, known for its rich mineral deposits but also its hostile wildlife and hazardous environments. Players take on the roles of dwarf miners employed by Deep Rock Galactic, a mining corporation that sends them into Hoxxes IV's caves to extract resources. The game supports crossplay, allowing players on different platforms to team up for missions in procedurally generated caves while battling alien swarms. Deep Rock Galactic received positive reviews for its class-based gameplay and immersive atmosphere. It has sold over five million units as of January 2023 and has been available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service since November 2020. Additionally, it was featured as a free game for PlayStation Plus subscribers during its release month.
