Description
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, is a first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. A sequel to Modern Warfare II, it's the third entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare series and the twentieth in the overall Call of Duty series. The game maintains a realistic, modern setting, following Task Force 141 as they track down the antagonist, Vladimir Makarov, aiming to trigger a third World War. The multiplayer features sixteen remastered maps from Modern Warfare 2, with additional maps planned post-launch. The game also includes a Zombies mode developed by Treyarch. Initially conceived as an expansion for Modern Warfare II, it evolved into a standalone release after leaks in 2023.
