Description
Paladins: Champions of the Realm is a popular free-to-play online hero shooter that hit the gaming scene in 2018. One of its standout features is crossplay support, enabling players on various platforms to battle it out together seamlessly. The game's journey to its current state was quite interesting. Originally announced in 2012 as Global Agenda 2, it had a different vision and was initially expected to launch in mid-2013. At that time, it was envisioned as either a sequel or a spiritual successor to the PVP mode of Global Agenda, according to some of the developers. However, the game underwent multiple name changes during its development. Finally, in early August 2015, the developers settled on the name Paladins. The game went through pre-alpha and alpha versions in 2015 but remained relatively hidden until August 3, 2015, when outlets like IGN were granted permission to showcase the game's content. The closed beta for Paladins commenced on November 17, 2015, and it continued to evolve.
