What is WARDOGS?
In WARDOGS, players will experience tactical gunplay, vehicle combat, and dynamic base-building and destruction. The game runs on the principle of "cash is king". Each time you do something to help your team win the match, you get paid. You can use your money on weapons, vehicles, and constructions within the battle itself. There's also local voice chat for all three teams in the game, so you can communicate with your squad or joke with the other side in real-time.
The game has been getting great traction even before its official release. Numbers from the recent pre-release tests showed over 245,000 concurrent users. Celebrating the launch, BULKHEAD has released a new trailer called "PLAY LIKE YOU USED TO," commemorating the time of unpredictably fun multiplayer games. The company has also launched a community clip contest offering a $100,000 cash prize pool for the most entertaining video.
Console Expansion
On our website, we're committed to promoting crossplay gaming and the growth of communities. Although WARDOGS is available only on PC at the moment, the developers have confirmed that the game will expand to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles in 2028. Console users can already wishlist the game on their preferred platform. As the date approaches when the game will become available on consoles, we hope to see crossplay support fully implemented so all players can enjoy the game together.
Our Coverage Plan
As WARDOGS is going to launch in Early Access, it meets our criteria for games that we need to cover separately. According to our policy, we don't assign a numeric score to unfinished games. Instead, our team will playtest WARDOGS PC edition and write a Game Preview. We'll examine how the game works now, what its features are, and what its potential. We'll tell whether it's worth purchasing the game right away or waiting for its improvements.
WARDOGS is available in Early Access now on PC via Steam for $39.99 USD, following the stepped pricing model. The initial price is lower than that of the final game release, but it rises over time. We'll publish our Game Preview soon!
