All Updates of Panic Delivery
Imagine yourself and your three most questionable friends being the most incompetent delivery drivers in the entire multiverse. That is exactly the premise of a recently released game called Panic Delivery. In fact, it was made available as an Early Access title. This game is the perfect example of one of those rare titles that belong to a special category known as "games you play to scream at your friends".

If you are looking for a tactically complex gaming experience, Panic Delivery might not be what you are looking for. However, if you have nothing else to do and would like to spend several hours yelling and laughing your head off, this could be the perfect delivery route. Here is why this game is one heck of a ride.

The Good: Squeaky Toys, Grenades, and Pure Comedy

In essence, Panic Delivery has a very simple concept. The idea is to pick up a package, overcome all the obstacles and creatures on the way to destination point, and make a successful drop-off. You start with two missions initially but enjoy the variety of maps that the game provides.

The real charm of this game lies in pure chaos. There is zero chance to play this game without messing everything up. One moment, you might be gambling for some extra cash, and the next minute you are distracting some interdimensional creature using a squeaking rubber toy. Oh, and someone ends up dying due to an unexpected explosion of TNT.

Speaking of customization, it is absolutely ridiculous. Feel like going through some haunted ruins dressed up as Guy Fieri in a school uniform? No problem! Though the game is playable solo, it becomes really enjoyable with a full squad of players when the communication inevitably turns into panicked screams.

The Bad: Early Access Flaws

Though it seems to be a great game at first glance, it is necessary to note that this is still an Early Access title. As a result, it suffers from certain technical flaws, though the developers are actively dealing with user feedback. Here are the main flaws that currently hinder the delivery service of Panic Delivery:

  • Server Desynchronization: This is arguably the most annoying issue that you face when playing the game. While the host enjoys a smooth gameplay, client players (those who join a lobby created by the first person) experience desynchronization. For instance, the game forces you to move in accordance with server calculations, which results in rubberbanding.
  • Performance: It looks like the game desperately needs some optimizations. At least, this is what some of the players report because several of them experienced their CPUs being maxed out and overheated after only half an hour of playing.
  • Bugs and Clumsy Mechanics: Apart from desynchronization issues, this game suffers from bugs. Namely, trying to access some buildings simply ejects you right outside the location in question. Furthermore, the holding box feature appears to be extremely inconvenient for such an action-packed game.
  • Quality of Life: Speaking about the quality of life features, the sliders in the menu seem to be currently dysfunctional since turning them off does not actually work unless the player disables master volume. Lastly, this game has a creepy spider (albeit with a cat's head) and needs Arachnophobia option to save its poor victims.

Verdict

Overall, this game is pure entertainment. It might appear to be quite buggy at first, yet there are no doubts that you will have a great time with your friends. In spite of a number of minor problems related to multiplayer and the general mechanics, you will love this hilarious game.
