This update introduces global crossplay on all supported platforms, letting you and your friends play together no matter what platform you're on. It also includes new weapons, a limited-time Skirmish mode, free cosmetic content, and updates.
Global Crossplay
The main feature of this update is cross-play, which is now supported across all available platforms in Insurgency: Sandstorm. This means players on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) can play together. Plus, with Discord now natively available on consoles, you can easily communicate with your friends while playing.
New free weapons
As part of the update, you'll receive 3 new assault rifles.
F2000 bullpup - for both teams.
Italian AR-7090 WCX - for Insurgents.
The tactical WCX - for Security.
Free cosmetic gear sets
You'll also receive 2 new gear sets.
