Naval Warfare Mode in Season 4

One of the most requested modes of Battlefield comes back with Season 4: Naval Warfare. It is available on two brand new maps:

  • Tsuru Reef: This huge tropical map includes land, naval, and air battles, beaches, aircraft, tanks, and infantry.
  • Wake Island: This legendary Battlefield map comes back to the game with all-new Battlefield 6 gameplay systems and large naval battles.

The developers say that Naval Warfare becomes an integral part of Battlefield 6 instead of a separate mode.

Crossplay Update for Console Users

One of the hottest topics for discussion in the recent developers' Q&A is console crossplay.

Developers confirm that the topic is being discussed among themselves due to the high demand from the community. Though Battlefield matches players on consoles whenever possible, PC users may enter these matches to ensure healthy matchmaking times.

Even though this console-only crossplay option is not confirmed, developers acknowledge their players' requests and keep considering it.
