New Anti-Cheat system?

So, first of all, we would like to tell you about why Battlefield 6 could be unique in the scope of security. Not many know, but in 2022, EA rolled out a new Anti-Cheat system that has started work on the Kernel level, and EA said it had blocked millions of cheating attempts. With the release of Battlefield 6, the new system recieve a name "Javelin", and now it requires the "Secure Boot" BIOS option to be enabled to play the game.

EA Anticheat Team has already said that in the Battlefield 6 open beta, they have prevented 330,000 attempts at cheating.

Why is "Security Boot" required?

Security Boot is not a silver bullet, and does not prevent cheating by itself; instead, it prevents your PC from using vulnerable drivers that are usually used by cheat programs.
